Brillant claviériste, que cela soit au piano acoustique ou sur instruments électroniques, compositeur, chanteur et producteur à la personnalité débonnaire et chaleureuse, George Duke est mort, lundi 5 août, au St. John's Hospital de Los Angeles (Californie). Il était âgé de 67 ans et souffrait, selon un communiqué de son agence artistique, diffusé mardi 6 août, d'une leucémie.
